These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RRT Academy (the "Service"), operated at rrtacademy.com and rrt.academy. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Educational purpose
RRT Academy provides exam-preparation content — practice questions, calculators, and an AI tutor — for respiratory therapy students preparing for NBRC credentialing exams. The Service is for educational study purposes only and is not a substitute for your program's curriculum, clinical training, or supervising instructors.
2. Independence from the NBRC
RRT Academy is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). All content is created by RRT Academy and is not sourced from, and does not reproduce, any NBRC examination materials.
3. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
4. Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans ("Passes") grant access to premium features for a fixed period as described at the time of purchase. Passes are one-time payments, not recurring subscriptions, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Refund eligibility (including any "Pass Guarantee" terms) is described on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: resell or redistribute Service content; use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content; attempt to reverse-engineer the question bank; or use the AI tutor for purposes unrelated to exam preparation, including attempts to extract harmful, unsafe, or unrelated content.
6. No clinical use
Calculators and explanations provided by the Service (including the ABG and ventilator tools and the AI tutor) are educational study aids. They are not intended for use in real patient care, diagnosis, or treatment decisions. Always follow your facility's protocols and the guidance of licensed, supervising clinicians.
7. Intellectual property
All questions, rationales, calculators, and content are original works owned by RRT Academy. You may use them for personal study; you may not copy, republish, or distribute them.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is." We work to keep content accurate and reviewed by credentialed respiratory therapists, but we don't guarantee any specific exam outcome, and we don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RRT Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
