Taking the exam in 2027?

What's changing, and which exam to take
  • Every plan is the same platform. The simulators, clinical-judgment cases, AI Tutor and clinical tools train skills the TMC, CSE and new RT Exam all test.
  • The question bank and mock exams were written to the TMC outline. You can already practice by 2027 RT Exam area; those questions are AI-mapped to the 2027 outline, with clinician verification in progress. Questions written to the 2027 outline join every active plan as they pass clinical review. We haven't verified full 2027 coverage.
  • Testing well into 2027? Premium Monthly lets you study now and cancel any time; Exam Ready's 90 days work best once your date is set.
  • Deep Prep Plus: the extension terms currently cover the NBRC TMC exam. Read the terms before buying it for an RT Exam date.

Common questions

Is this a subscription?
Premium Monthly is, at $29.99 a month — you cancel from your account whenever you like and keep access through the period you've already paid for. Exam Ready and Deep Prep Plus are not: you pay once, the access window is fixed, and nothing renews or charges you again.
What's the difference between the paid plans?
Nothing in the product. All three unlock the same complete Premium platform — full question bank, AI Tutor, mock exams, Clinical Simulation Lab, everything. They differ only in how you pay, how long you get, and how much you save by committing. Deep Prep Plus adds one thing on top: the 90-day extension.
Which should I pick?
If your exam date is set and it's within about three months, Exam Ready is the cheapest way to cover it. If you're earlier in your program or unsure when you'll sit, start monthly — it's the lowest commitment and you can switch to a one-time plan later. If you want the longest runway and a safety net, Deep Prep Plus.
How do I cancel Premium Monthly?
Account → Manage billing. That opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can cancel, change your card, or download receipts. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not cut off the period you've paid for.
What if my card fails?
Stripe retries it and emails you. Your access continues for a short grace period while that happens, and your account page shows a banner so you're not caught out. Update your card from Account → Manage billing and access continues uninterrupted.
What does Deep Prep Plus actually mean?
365 days of full access. Eligible students who do not pass the covered exam receive one additional 90-day extension at no extra charge, subject to the Deep Prep Plus terms. Complete at least 80% of the question bank before your exam date and file within 90 days of that exam. Your 90 days run from your original expiry date or your approval date, whichever is later — review time never shortens your extension. It is additional study time, not a cash refund. Can I switch plans?
Yes. A one-time plan can be bought at any point, including while you're subscribed monthly — your access resolves to whichever lasts longest, so you never lose time you've paid for. To move off monthly, cancel from Account → Membership & Billing. To change a one-time plan, email support@rrtacademy.com and we'll apply a prorated credit.
Are the questions really aligned with the NBRC?
Every question is original, written to the NBRC TMC content outline (in effect through December 31, 2026), and explains every option, not just the answer. Questions written to the 2027 RT Exam outline are in clinical review; we haven't verified full 2027 coverage yet. Any question can be reported from inside practice, and new questions are included in every active plan.
