This Privacy Policy explains what information RRT Academy collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: name and email address when you sign up.
- Study activity: questions answered, scores, and progress, so we can show you your readiness and weak areas.
- Payment information: handled directly by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
- AI tutor conversations: stored so the tutor can reference earlier context and so we can improve quality and safety.
- Waitlist signups: just an email address, used only to notify you about launch updates.
How we use information
We use your information to operate the Service (authentication, progress tracking, billing), to personalize study recommendations, to communicate with you about your account or updates, and to improve the product.
Third parties
We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, Stripe for payment processing, and Anthropic's API to power the AI tutor. Each handles data under its own privacy and security practices. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain account and study data for as long as your account is active, so your progress is preserved. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
Your choices
You can access, correct, or delete your account information, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails.
Children's privacy
The Service is intended for respiratory therapy students, generally adults pursuing postsecondary credentialing. It is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
